Cologne, Germany and WWII tank battles

“Just recently, I took a trip to Germany with my wife for holiday after my business travel in Netherlands. Among may places, we visited Berlin, Nurnburg and Cologne. These are places full of WWII history, and I was deeply amazed by the culture, architects, and traces of history to date. Cologne is the place that probably impressed me most, the famous Koln Dom (Cathedral) is a good piece of living history that reminds us what was happening in 1945.

May Meeting Wrap-Up

To Club Members,
We had 28 members attend the meeting last night to reviewModelmania 2017 and discuss upcoming shows in Dallas (Eaglesquest) and Grapevine (Scalefest).  One of the highlights of the meeting was Vince’s slide presentation on various member’s work spaces.  Everyone had a great time guessing whose space was whose.  I hope Vince will do this again in the future.

Meeting Notice and More

To Club Members,

Next Tuesday, January 10th, will be our next meeting, same place, same time. With Modelmania 2017 just 4 months away, this meeting will include quite a bit of discussion on where we are in it’s preparation, what we need, and who is going to do what. Nothing has really changed much from last year, though the club does need several volunteers to take over several spots, mainly a couple of people to work the Door Prize table from about 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. with drawings every hour.
