Field Report – Portlandia… and a newsletter

All,

Please find attached Rick’s report from far-flung Portland, OR and another real, honest-to-goodness model shop. Thanks Rick. Would love to hear of other model shop visits like this.

Also, the November issue of Wingman – the prodigious output of the “Milwaukee, Wisconson’s Richard I. Bong Chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society” – phew, that’s a mouthful. More of a general newsletter, this one, but a load of photos of completed models of all types. Enjoy.

To Club Members,
For those of you who enjoy reading the electronic newsletters I get, attached are the May issues of The Wingman from the IPMS Milwaukee, WI. chapter and the latest newsletter from the Oklahoma Historical Modelers Society in OKC.  I hope you enjoy them both.
Some of you have sent me e-mails inquiring when the photos taken by Tim Campbell (volunteered at the last minute – a big thanks to Tim!) atModelmania might be posted on our web site.  Tim has now edited those that he took and sent them to Tom Moon for organizing and labeling.  As soon as Tom is done, I am sure he will get them to Michael Martin asap for posting on our website (http://www.ipms-houston.org/).
For those of you who remember Kerri Inglebreathsen (from Stavanger) who was a member of our group for a couple of years, I wanted to pass along some photos of an 32nd Italeri F-104G he recently completed in Greek markings and won a First Place with at the IPMS Norway National Convention.  Congrats to Kerri for the award and for completing a beautiful model of a tough kit.
Have a great weekend.
